About Us

We’re not your typical candle makers. We’re two ex-hotel managers who swapped upstate New York’s long shifts for the open road in January 2023. With an RV as our home and nomads.trekkn as our story, we set out to chase freedom—and found something more.

It all sparked one late summer night in 2023 on our Arizona high desert ranch. Fresh off a Pacific Northwest run, we lit a campfire under a sky ablaze—reds, oranges, purples, pinks, and gold. The air hummed with sage and juniper, and a wild idea took hold: what if we could bottle this rugged beauty? Wax spilled, oils splashed, and Sonoran Spirit—our first scent—was born in the glow of our RV’s kitchen.

Trail & Ember launched in October 2024, turning our journey into luxury scents with a rugged spirit. From Ash & Ember’s campfire fade to Whiskey & Smoke’s starry-night kick, every candle is handcrafted where we roam—our ranch, a mountain pass, or wherever the road takes us. It’s not just wax; it’s a mile marker, a memory, a piece of our trail.
